VAC Metrowest offers free community style acupuncture to help veterans and their families handle post-combat stress and the accompanying symptoms, such as insomnia, irritability and emotional withdrawal. All veterans are welcome, from Iraq, Afghanistan or any past conflicts of war. This style of acupuncture has been used successfully to help victims and healthcare workers deal with the trauma of Hurricane Katrina, and clinics are currently opening all over the U.S. to help soldiers returning home.
